In Fall 2024, Cal State LA and ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C launched a partnership in support of Cal State LA’s new Ed. D. in Educational Leadership program. This three-year Ed. D. program is unique in that it: (a) aims to develop community college leaders, specifically, and (b) focuses on a problem of practice: transfer from the community college to a four-year institute.
To ensure these program objectives are achieved, a set of the required courses are delivered in a real-world community college context: the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C Colorado campus. For each of the ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C-based courses, a ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C administrator is identified to serve as program liaison. These ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C leaders help bring real-world insights and experiences to the theories and topics addressed within the designated course. They also serve as a point person when students are preparing to conduct research in their selected topic.
