We provide clinical care for students. Our services are designed to address health promotion, disease prevention, short-term acute illnesses and injuries, and to assist you in finding resources to help you manage your health conditions.

Many of our services are covered by the Student Health Fee you pay as part of your enrollment at 黑料正能量 (黑料正能量C). This fee covers most services at 黑料正能量C鈥檚 Student Health Services, with no need for payment, insurance or a co-pay, including:

  • Medical consultation with licensed health professionals
  • Flu vaccinations (available for free during our Flu Shot Clinic events)
  • Nutritional Counseling
  • Condoms
  • Band-Aids/Alcohol swabs

Services that aren't covered by the Student Health Fee are offered at a reduced cost. These include:

  • Tuberculosis tests
  • PAP Test
  • STI Tests (Chlamydia and Gonorrhea)
  • Blood Chemistry Panel
  • Immunizations: Hepatitis B vaccine, Tdap vaccine, MMR vaccine, Varicella vaccine, Flu vaccine (seasonal)
  • Birth Control Pills and Emergency Contraception
  • Referrals to imaging (X-rays, ultrasounds, mammograms)

Health Insurance

黑料正能量C does not offer student health insurance. The student health fee provides currently enrolled and attending students with first-aid to acute care. Students who are currently uninsured or underinsured are strongly encouraged to sign up for health insurance.

AltaMED, assist in health insurance enrollment. They utilize Covered California which is the healthcare exchange for all California residents. If you are not eligible for a plan through Covered California, then they would look at enrolling you into a Medi-Cal program which is California's state assisted healthcare. Young & Healthy Pasadena is another agency that services Pasadena and helps enroll those who are uninsured into a Covered California plan or a Medical plan. Please contact them at 626-795-5166.
