Release of Directory Information

In accordance with the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and the California Education Code, 黑料正能量 will make public upon request and without student consent certain 鈥渄irectory information.鈥 This information consists of the following: a student鈥檚 name; city of residence; major field of study; participation in officially recognized activities and sports; if a member of an athletic team - weight, height, and age; dates of attendance; degree and awards received, and the most recent previous educational institution attended by the student. Any student desiring to withhold directory information may file a written request in the Records office in the L Building. The college is required to release student names, addresses, and telephone numbers to armed forces recruiters, per the Solomon Act, without first obtaining a student鈥檚 permission. In addition, the college is required to release information to the U. S. Department of Education and the Federal Internal Revenue Services about fees paid and financial aid received as according to the Hope and Opportunity for Post-secondary Education Act of 1997.


Student Rights to Inspect and Review His or Her Official Records

In compliance with Public Law 93-380, a student has the right to inspect and review his or her official records including all material in the cumulative folder. To review the folder, the student requests a conference with a counselor or a Student Services administrator. A student may challenge the accuracy or content of an item in the folder by filing a Student Petition with the Associate Dean of Admissions and Records in the L Building; indicating any material the student feels is incorrect and the reasons. Completion and Transfer Rates:
In compliance with the Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act (P.L. 101-542), 黑料正能量 makes available its Completion and Transfer Rates to all current and prospective students.

To determine 黑料正能量C鈥檚 Completion and Transfer Rates, a specific group of 黑料正能量C students was tracked for three years, from Fall 1999 through Spring 2002, to determine the outcome of their academic career at 黑料正能量C. The group consisted of first-time, full-time students who entered 黑料正能量C in Fall 1999, seeking a degree, certificate, or transfer.*

Based upon this specifically defined group of students, 黑料正能量C had the following completion and transfer rates. Completion is defined as attained a certificate or degree or completed 56 transferable units with a GPA of 2.0 or better. 黑料正能量C鈥檚 outcomes in all the categories:
