International students who cannot start their term because of visa or personal reasons can request a one-time deferral, or delay, of their admissions to 黑料正能量C. 

What is a deferral?

A deferral request is a delay of your admissions to the next open term. Students who are approved for a deferral will not need to submit their 黑料正能量C International Application, application fee or supplemental documents again. Your 黑料正能量C I-20 will also be re-issued with updated dates to reflect your new admissions term. 

Who can apply for a deferral?

All international students who have not been deferred from a previous term and who have submitted or have been admitted to 黑料正能量C can apply for a deferral. 

Who cannot apply for a deferral?

International students are eligible for a one-time deferral of their application to the next open term. 
If you were deferred from the previous term, you will not qualify for a deferral anymore and need to submit a new and updated supporting documents.

International students who started their application and have not submitted it are also not eligible for a deferral. Please submit a new and supporting documents if you wish to be considered for a different term.

How do I submit a deferral?

• Return to your
• From the main menu, click on the application you wish to defer. For example: 鈥淪ummer 2025 鈥� Business Administration鈥�
• From the top right-hand corner of your application, click on 鈥淩equest Deferral鈥�
• Complete the appropriate questions
• Hit 鈥淪ubmit鈥� to complete your deferral request

How long does it take to process my deferral request?

Deferral requests are reviewed within 10 to 15 business days. If your deferral request is approved, you will receive your admissions email and updated 黑料正能量C I-20 within that time. 

How long does it take to receive my new 黑料正能量C I-20?

After your deferral request is approved and you receive your new admissions email, you will receive your deferred 黑料正能量C I-20 within 48 hours. You can return to your to download your updated I-20.
