To earn an AA or AS Degree from ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿ you must complete the following requirements:

• Complete a minimum of 60 degree applicable units (courses numbered 1-99)

• Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 in all coursework completed at ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C and in comparable courses at other regionally accredited institutions. 

• Complete the required courses for your selected Area of Emphasis or major as detailed in the catalog or addenda. All courses in the area of emphasis must be completed with a grade of C or better or a "P" if the course is taken on a Pass/No Pass basis.

• At least 12 units of the required 60 units, must be completed at ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C. No more than 6 units may be transferred from another college if earned after your last enrollment at ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C.

• Certified completion of one the following general education patterns:

  • ºÚÁÏÕýÄÜÁ¿C Local General Education
  • IGETC (Fall 2023 and later)
  • IGETC (Prior to Fall 2023)
  • CSU GE Breadth (Fall 2021 and later)
  • CSU GE Breadth (Prior to Fall 2021)
